What started with a directory and networking group in Carmel, Indiana grew into a larger community that serves small businesses everywhere in Indiana.

  • September 2016 – Open In Carmel directory and networking group launched
  • January 2017 – Additional directories added for Avon, Fishers, Greenwood, Indianapolis, Noblesville and Zionsville
  • April 2018 – All community directories were merged into one statewide directory, formal adoption of the name Open In Indiana
  • March 2021 – Reached 1,100 Business listings
